IES/ESE 2026 Admit Card for Main Exam

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will issue the IES/ESE Admit Card for the Mains Exam on the 13th June 2026. The IES/ESE Prelim Exam 2026 will be conducted on the 21st of June 2026. UPSC will issue different IES/ESE 2026 Admit Card for the Main & Prelims exam. Admit cards will be issued only for those candidates who successfully registered for the IES/ESE 2026 in September 2025.

IES/ESE 2026 (Mains) Admit Card

The UPSC will release the Main & Prelims Admit cards Separately. The IES/ESE 2026 Prelims Admit Card has been released for all candidates who applied for IES/ESE 2026. However, the Main Admit card will only be issued to those candidates who qualified for the IES/ESE Prelims Exam 2026. Main Qualified candidates should appear for the Interview round.

IES/ESE Admit card contains information such as

Candidates must know the details mentioned on the Admit card

1) Name of the candidate

2) Roll number

3) Date of Examination

4) Venue of Exam

5) Photograph of Candidate

How to download the IES/ESE Admit Card

Step1: Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in.

Step2: Click on the ‘Examinations’ tab.

Step3: In the examinations section, click on e-admit cards.

Step4: There will be a link for ‘UPSC Engineering IES/ESE admit card’.

Step5: Click on IES/ESE Admit Card.

Step6: Read the Instructions and click “Yes”.

Step7: Enter Registration ID/ Roll Number and other details in the provided field.

Step8: Click on the “Submit” button.

Step9: IES/ESE Examination Admit Card will appear on the screen.

Step10: Download/ Take a printout of the Admit card and carry it with you on exam day

Documents Required with IES/ESE Admit Card

• The candidate should carry one original valid identity proof along with IES/ESE Admit Card.
• If the photograph on IES/ESE Admit Card is not visible then please carry two passport size photos along with valid identity proof and admit card.
• A candidate can carry a black/blue ballpoint pen along with IES/ESE Admit Card inside the examination hall.
• If you made any changes in name or other details, then you should carry the respective documents for proof. 
• A list of Valid Identity Proof is allowed at IES Exam Centers.
