GATE 2027 Notification (Information Brochure) was released in July 2024, after deciding on the conducting office for GATE 2027. This year, IIT Madras will conduct GATE 2027. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will launch the official website of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027. Last Year, one of the major changes in the entrance test is that GATE 2027 examination will be conducted for 30 papers and candidates can choose 2 papers in GATE 2027. Also, one big change is 3rd year (pre-final Year) candidates are also eligible for GATE 2027.

The registration process and GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website will be open from 24th August 2026. The last date to submit the GATE 2027 Application form will be 29th September 2026, with a late fee (Rs. 500/- Extra) on 13th October 2026.

Candidates can download the GATE 2027 Admit Card from 3rd January 2027. The GATE 2027 Examination will be held on February 6, 7, 13, and 14, 2027. The mode of GATE 2027 will be computer-based.

GATE 2027 will consist of MCQ-type and Numerical Answer Type questions. The MCQ-type questions will carry 1 or 2 marks in all the papers and sections. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for 1-mark MCQ, and 2/3 marks will be deducted for 02-mark MCQ.
The NAT-type questions will consist of 1 or 2 marks, furthermore, there is no negative marking for a wrong answer in NAT questions.

GATE 2020 Eligibility Criteria is 4 years after 10+2 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ or 3 years after B.Sc./ Diploma in Engineering/ Technology and those who are in the final year of these programs.
Sorry to say but you are not eligible for the GATE exam because it needs 10+2 or Diploma before engineering of 4 years

If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or you are in the final year then you are eligible for GATE 2020. There is no age criteria for GATE 2020

After that scan that document and submit while filling online application form.
