GATE 2020 Notification (Information Brochure) released. After deciding the conducting office for GATE 2020. This year, IIT Delhi will conduct GATE 2020. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will launch the official website of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020. This year, one of the major change in the entrance test is that GATE 2020 examination will be conducted for 24 papers. Last year, there were 23 numbers of subjects. The new addition is the Statistics subject and its code is ST. Other than this, the candidates will also get an opportunity to submit the application form in case if they miss the deadline.

GATE 2020 Notification

The registration process and GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website will open from 3rd September 2019 (Tuesday). The last date to submit the GATE 2020 Application form is 24th September 2019 (Tuesday) and with late fee (Rs. 500/- Extra) 1st October 2019.

Candidates can download GATE 2020 Admit Card from 3rd January 2020 (Friday). GATE 2020 Examination will be held on February 01, 02, 08, and 09, 2020. The mode of GATE 2020 will be computer based.

GATE 2020 will consist of two types of questions – MCQ type and Numerical Answer Type questions. The MCQ type questions will carry 01 or 02 marks in all the papers and sections. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for 1-mark MCQ, and 2/3 mark will be deducted for 02 marks MCQ.

The NAT type questions will consist of 1 or 2 marks, furthermore, there is no negative marking for a wrong answer in NAT questions.

      Hello Meet,

      GATE 2020 Eligibility Criteria is 4 years after 10+2 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ or 3 years after B.Sc./ Diploma in Engineering/ Technology and those who are in the final year of these programs.

      Sorry to say but you are not eligible for the GATE exam because it needs 10+2 or Diploma before engineering of 4 years

      If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or you are in the final year then you are eligible for GATE 2020. There is no age criteria for GATE 2020

      Shubham please download https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TYKnPey5Lz8vY7G2WONaNyurYYunU0em this provisional certificate form then take a printout and fill each detail and take HOD/Principle sign and college Seal.
      After that scan that document and submit while filling online application form.
