GATE 2024 Notification (Information Brochure) is released on 8th August 2023. After deciding on the conducting office for GATE 2024. This year, IISc Bangalore will conduct GATE 2024. Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will launch the official website of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. Last Year, one of the major changes in the entrance test is that GATE 2024 examination will be conducted for 30 papers and candidates can choose 2 papers in GATE 2024. Also, one big change is 3rd year (pre-final Year) candidates are also eligible for GATE 2024.

GATE 2024 Notification
The registration process and GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website will be open from 24th August 2023. The last date to submit the GATE 2024 Application form will be 29th September 2023 and with a late fee (Rs. 500/- Extra) 13th October 2023.

Candidates can download GATE 2024 Admit Card from 3rd January 2024. The GATE 2024 Examination will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The mode of GATE 2024 will be computer-based.

GATE 2024 will consist of two types of questions – MCQ type and Numerical Answer Type questions. The MCQ-type questions will carry 1 or 2 marks in all the papers and sections. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for 1-mark MCQ, and 2/3 marks will be deducted for 02 marks MCQ.
The NAT-type questions will consist of 1 or 2 marks, furthermore, there is no negative marking for a wrong answer in NAT questions.
