GATE 2020 Notification

GATE 2020 Notification (Poster) released. After deciding the conducting office for GATE 2020. This year, IIT Delhi will conduct GATE 2020. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will launch the official website of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020. The conducting body will also announce all the important dates and details of the examination. You can check GATE 2020 poster at the end of this page.

This year, one of the major change in the entrance test is that GATE 2020 examination will be conducted for 24 papers. Last year, there were 23 numbers of subjects. The new addition is the Statistics subject and its code is ST. Other than this, the candidates will also get an opportunity to submit the application form in case if they miss the deadline.

GATE 2020 Notification

The registration process and GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website will open from 3rd September 2019 (Tuesday). The last date to submit the GATE 2020 Application form is 24th September 2019 (Tuesday) and with late fee (Rs. 500/- Extra) 1st October 2019.

Candidates can download GATE 2020 Admit Card from 3rd January 2020 (Friday). GATE 2020 Examination will be held on February 01, 02, 08, and 09, 2020. The mode of GATE 2020 will be computer based.

GATE 2020 will consist of two types of questions – MCQ type and Numerical Answer Type questions. The MCQ type questions will carry 01 or 02 marks in all the papers and sections. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for 1-mark MCQ, and 2/3 mark will be deducted for 02 marks MCQ.

The NAT type questions will consist of 1 or 2 marks, furthermore, there is no negative marking for a wrong answer in NAT questions.
