GATE 2022 Notification (Information Brochure) is released on 7th August 2020. After deciding on the conducting office for GATE 2022. This year, IIT Kharagpur will conduct GATE 2022. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will launch the official website of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022. Last Year, one of the major changes in the entrance test is that GATE 2021 examination will be conducted for 27 papers and candidates can choose 2 papers in GATE 2021. Also, one big change is 3rd year (pre-final Year) candidates are also eligible for GATE 2021.

GATE 2022 Notification
The registration process and GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website will be open from 1st September 2021. The last date to submit the GATE 2022 Application form will be 30th September 2021 and with a late fee (Rs. 500/- Extra) 7th October 2021.

Candidates can download GATE 2022 Admit Card from 5th January 2022 (Friday). GATE 2022 Examination will be held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022. The mode of GATE 2022 will be computer-based.

GATE 2022 will consist of two types of questions – MCQ type and Numerical Answer Type questions. The MCQ-type questions will carry 1 or 2 marks in all the papers and sections. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for 1-mark MCQ, and 2/3 marks will be deducted for 02 marks MCQ.
The NAT-type questions will consist of 1 or 2 marks, furthermore, there is no negative marking for a wrong answer in NAT questions.
