Last Year, one of the major changes in the entrance test is that GATE 2023 examination will be conducted for 27 papers and candidates can choose 2 papers in GATE 2023. Also, one big change is 3rd year (pre-final Year) candidates are also eligible for GATE 2023.

GATE 2023 Notification
The registration process and GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website will be open from 1st September 2022. The last date to submit the GATE 2023 Application form will be 30th September 2022 and with a late fee (Rs. 500/- Extra) 7th October 2022.

Candidates can download GATE 2023 Admit Card from 5th January 2023 (Friday). GATE 2023 Examination will be held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2023. The mode of GATE 2023 will be computer-based.

GATE 2023 will consist of two types of questions – MCQ type and Numerical Answer Type questions. The MCQ-type questions will carry 1 or 2 marks in all the papers and sections. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for 1-mark MCQ, and 2/3 marks will be deducted for 02 marks MCQ.
The NAT-type questions will consist of 1 or 2 marks, furthermore, there is no negative marking for a wrong answer in NAT questions.
